Artist: Hermon Adams

Hermon Adams is a representational artist most noted for his paintings of wildlife, landscapes, Native Americans and horses. He uses strong colour and rich detail to create stories without words, images that linger in the memories of viewers. Born in Mississippis, Hermon began to paint at an early age. He studiees advertising design and spent several years in commercial art before taking up painting full time.  He now lives in the West where he is surrounded with the inspiration for much of his work. Hermon paints Western themes with a romantic approach, echoing many of the classic Western painters. Hermon feels that "the important things in a painting are beauty, light, depth and meaning."  His art has a broad appeal and has found its way into many collections and publications, among them "Who's Who of 1993."
